Under the theme of “Going for Gold: Strategies to Identify and Deliver Business Value in the Next Phase of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, the Manufacturing Leadership Council convened the 15th Manufacturing Leadership Summit in Huntington Beach, CA, in June.

More than 300 industry executives attended the three-day Summit, which began with the MLC’s annual Council Day where MLC members were updated on the progress of the MLC over the past year, particularly since its acquisition by the National Association of Manufacturers in August of 2018.

During the two-day conference portion of the Summit, attendees experienced nine keynote and case study presentations; 11 “lightning round” presentations from a selected group of this year’s ML Award winners; 10 “Think Tanks” on topics such as IT/OT teams, coping with the data deluge, leveraging IoT on the plant floor, and 3D printing; and more 100 one-on-one briefing sessions from Summit sponsors in the technology community.

And, finally, on the evening of June 10, the 15th Manufacturing Leadership Awards ceremony was held, honoring more than 80 companies and individuals for their achievements in manufacturing.
