Dal-Tile is the largest tile seller in the United States, and is part of the Mohawk Group, the largest tile manufacturer in the world, with operations in the USA, Mexico, Europe and Russia. The Dickson manufacturing plant started in 2014 and makes and distributes high end porcelain floor tile for the US market.

Manufacturing Leadership Council Member

David Baran is currently Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at Dal-Tile corporation, a division of Mohawk Industries. He is responsible for 16 plants in the USA and Mexico, and has been in this role for 14 years. He has responsibility for plant engineering, environmental, and purchasing for the company, as well as raw material mining and sourcing. Prior to his role at Dal-Tile, he ran the manufacturing operations for Hamilton Beach in Mexico, with 4 plants producing small kitchen appliances. David started his career at General Electric, where he spent 17 years in several businesses in manufacturing roles of increasing responsibility.
